There are no "portals" or other superstitious nonsense and this performance of a railway opening was referencing local legends, tales and folklore about the very mountain range the tunnel crosses. And there are no santanists (< YT) except in your imagination.
@@JM-ko5mp No, it has not. This was the opening of the railway tunnel through the Gotthard mountain range. That has nothing to do with CERN at all, it's not even nearby (distance is approx. 200 km, that are ~ 130 miles). There is no connection whatsoever between a railroad and a research organisation. And they aren't building another collider, at the moment this is just an idea that hasn't been decided on. It would allow to deepen the current research on particle physics.
